Step into a traditional Kapchorwa home and learn to cook the dishes that fuels hunters, farmers and runners on Mount Elgon. Together with the Kapchorwa Mamas (and cultural guide Shadrack) you’ll harvest ingredients from the garden, grind millet for karo, prepare wholesome greens and kweryonik (sour milk). It’s hands-on, heart-warming and engaging way to connect with daily life in Uganda’s highlands.
