Do you like to spend time in the kitchen? And are you curious about traditional Ugandan food? Because of cattle raids and hunting practices, the Kapchorwa ancestors had to cover long distances. To regain energy, women would cook nutritious Ugandan foods such as karo, various local greens and sour milk (‘kweryonik’).

Details about Cooking with the Kapchorwa MAmas

  • Book at least three days in advance

  • This cooking experience takes place between 4pm and 6pm, in the gardens and Cave Museum close to our Guesthouse

  • A minimum of two people need to sign up

  • $35 per person = $70 for 2 pax, $32,50 per person for 3-4 pax, $30 per person for 5-6 pax, $27,50 per person for 7-8 pax

  • Children below 5 years free of charge; between 6 and 15 years half-price

  • Your local meal is included in the price
