Kapchorwa-Benet Trail

Cave Dance Experience

Step inside a natural cave near our Guesthouse to explore the rich history of the Sebei people. Listen to ancient stories, enjoy traditional songs & dances and taste authentic Sebei snacks prepared by a passionate group of Kapchorwa youth who are on a mission to revive the ancient Sebei culture.

Our team of native guides grew up on the slopes of Mount Elgon and know these trails better than anyone. Several are licensed by the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) and trained in first aid, professional communication and responsible tourism.

Beyond being guides, they are storytellers, nature lovers and cultural ambassadors. Bringing trails alive with unique stories!

Questions about our tours?

Here’s what travelers often ask before booking one of our hikes or cultural experiences:

Do I need to be very fit to join a hike?
Not at all! We offer trails for every fitness level — from short nature walks to full-day treks. Not all our guides are running champions, so they’ll always adapt the pace and route to the group.

Can kids join the tours?
Yes, most of our experiences are family-friendly. We recommend shorter hikes or cultural tours for families with younger children.

What should I bring?
Comfortable shoes, a reusable water bottle (we offer refills), sunscreen and a hat. We can also prepare a packed lunch on request.

How can I book a hike or cultural experience?
You can book directly through our contact form, by WhatsApp or when checking in at the Guesthouse. We usually respond within 24 hours.

Are your tours eco-friendly?
Yes. We partner with local guides and families, use refillable bottles and reinvest part of the tour fees in Community and bamboo-planting projects.
