I’m Daan — co-founder of Home of Friends Guesthouse and a storyteller who finds meaning in the quiet rhythm and beautiful nature of Kapchorwa.
Through my writing, I explore what a good and healthy life can look like — rooted in nature, Community and connection.
Here on the mountain, I’ve seen how sport and adventure can open hearts and minds. When travelers slow down, explore a trail or cook with local families, something powerful happens: real exchange, shared inspiration and fresh perspective.
