What is Kapchorwa known for?

Kapchorwa Town sits on the northern slopes of Mount Elgon in Eastern Uganda, overlooking the vast Karamoja plains.

All major access roads are tarmacked, including the scenic Kapchorwa-Suam highway connecting Uganda and Kenya.
